Block Party

Block party game allows children to watch their shared building grow

Material Needed

Step1:

Split up the children into small groups. Give each group a large paper bag filled with same assortment of blocks. Start by asking each child to choose one block from bag. Explain that they will work together to create a structure.

Step2:

Decide one child in each group to lay the first block. Have a second child put the next block adjacent to or on top of the first block. Then ask another children to add a block, one by one, piece by piece. After everyone made a turn, have the

children select a second block and once again take turns adding them one by one to the structure. Keep doing until all the blocks have been used.
