Pick up several pairs of flash cards with your baby's favorite objects or animals on it. Turn them over and play find pairs game. Don't worry if your baby is not able to find "pairs," do it for him, at the same time, say and sign what is the object or animal you are making a match.
Find your baby's favorite animal book and put paper over certain animals. Then sign the animal's name. For instance, ask and sign, "WHERE is the CAT?" Uncover the cat's picture , then say and sign, "CAT is HERE!"
Let your baby see you hide a BALL under a blanket or a cushion and let your baby go to search for it (or you find it for him). Meanwhile , ask and sign "WHERE is the BALL?" . Then watch your baby's amazement as you make the object magically appear! When he's old enough, let him look for and find the object himself. Find a family photo album to teach signs for family members, such as "Dad", "Mommy", "Grandpa", "Grandma". Take your baby's finger gently and have it point to each family member while you make the sign and say the word. Don't forget to have your baby point out his own picture and learn the sign for BABY.

Read as much as you can with your baby, adding signs while you are reading. Repetition is a good way for babies to learn things and babies love it. So make sure you will read the same book over and over.
