Material Needed

An album or scrapbook with blank pages

instant Polaroid camera, several packs of Polaroid film

glue and tape

Instruction

During the party, take lots of pictures with camera; glue them in right away and write short, funny captions for them. Capture and shoot the funny and happy moments during the shower games and record in the book who won at last!

Baby Relay

Have enough baby dolls for each player. Or you may ask your friends who already have children to bring extra dolls for you.

Instruction

Lay each doll, undressed, next to a diaper. On the other side of the room, lay out enough empty baby bottles for each player. Each player must diaper their baby(doll), run across and "feed" baby(doll), then run back and "burp" baby(doll). The first person finished wins the game.

Bottle Race

Fill small baby bottles with juice. Divide whole party into groups of four people. Each person gets a baby bottle. This is a race to see which group finishes their bottle first! Begin with the first person in the group, when she or he finishes, the next person begins and so on until the last person finishes.

Baby things exchange game

Invite all your friends and neighbors over for an informal exchange of unwanted baby things. Items could include clothes, books, toys, blankets, crib or room accessories. Most baby items are used for such a short period of time it saves money if everyone shares. You could also set up a lend table where people could write down things like baby swings or infant seats that they are not using right now, but want returned. If you want to make a game out of it, set the items up like an auction, giving poker chips out at the door based on the value of the items being donated. People could then purchase or bid on items according to the chips they have.

The way we were

This is one of funny new baby shower games. Invite friends over who have children. Ask everyone to bring then pictures of themselves before they had children. One or two couples at a time get to play the newlywed game. Using the pictures to spark ideas, the audience creates then questions. One partner goes out of the room while the other answers the questions. Then the out-of-room partner comes in and tries to guess how the other answered the questions. The couple that gets the most questions correct wins.
