Snowball Dance
Snowball dance is an active party game to have children pretend to be a dancing snowball, children learn to gather more partners to have snowball grow.
Material Needed Music audio-cassette player InstructionStep1Bring in this game into the party by telling the children that a real snowball keeps on growing in size it rolls along, accumulating more snow with each turn. Say that a dancing snowball becomes bigger and bigger, too, when new dancers are invited to join in.Step2To start, decide one child to be the first snowball. Let the snowball to choose a partner, and play the music. Notice: choose short segments of music to play so as to reduce wait time Step3When the music starts, have the two children dance or move together. When the music stops, have each child choose a new partner to join the snowball. Step4Next, have the two couples of partners dance together until the music stops.Step5Then, once again, have each child decide a new partner, turning the two couples of partners into four pairs. Continue to start and stop the music until every child has been chosen to join the game.
